Home Office Ideas 2020 With Neutral Color Palettes – Turn Unexpected Rooms Into Your Home Office Ideas With Claudia Leah Interior Decorators & Interior Designers Naples FL
If you’re new to my blog, WELCOME! With many workers forced to work at home because of COVID-19, my Claudia Leah Interior Designers Naples FL are fortunately considered essential (thank goodness).
To help provide you and our interior decorating clients with little workspace inspiration, we have scrolled the internet and our home design and interior decorating portfolio to create inspirational examples of how to repurpose rooms into home offices.
What are the almost home office ideas or exterior office ideas?
Almost home offices or exterior offices can open to the outdoors by way of windows or doors.
Throughout this interior design ideas blog post, you’ll find home office ideas that are perfect for summer in most of America or Fall, Spring or Winter here in Naples FL.
Recently I added an almost home office in a Marco Island home. Be sure to check out the details below to see how we added the desk and functionality into the British West Indies style bedroom.
1. Bedroom Sitting Area Converted To Crisp White Neutral Home Office
This office, off a master bedroom where the sitting area is typically located, has striking vistas. The sliding glass doors quickly allowed Architect Frank Greenwald’s New York couple’s Shingle Style residence with painstaking attention to detail an outside office when they want and a closed office when they prefer.
The floors further bring the outside in; they are made of custom-milled two-inch Douglas fir. The trim and baseboards have a classic refinement of proportion and scale. Interior designer Timothy Macdonald painted all the woodwork a crisp white for a clean look.

2. Place Desks In Front of Windows To Open Your Mind.
In the 2014 Traditional Home showhouse, New Trad designer Ryan White’s beach-chic vision for an oceanfront getaway home embraced nature as art. White used open desks in front of windows. Many people are much more inspired and get a lot more work done with the serenity of hearing the ocean or organic sounds of nature.
Opening the windows above the desk essentially makes this an “almost outdoor home office.” Notice the interior designer also used the stainless steel vs. black for the building code requirements. If he had painted this black, it would be far more noticeable.
Daily, our Naples Design Firm advises clients of critical aesthetic decisions combined with building codes for condominiums, homeowners associations, and local government laws.

3. Black & Taupe Neutral Home Office Ideas By Martha Stewart
Martha Stewart’s porch-turned-office is for the birds. Martha Stewart’s home office is a former porch turned home office. Transition your rooms. Imagine using a rarely used sunroom or porch as your home office. Give it a try; you’ll be surprised at how existing practical rooms can be.
Last week, we transitioned a back sun porch for a client. I can’t wait to show you all the results. Be sure to subscribe to see it when I write that interior design blog post.

4. Turn Garden Room Into A Home Office or Library.
Do you have a gardening room or storage room that could be converted to a home office or library? We love this idea from a Traditional Home magazine feature.

5. How To Convert A Sunroom Into A Home Office?
Converting a sunroom into a home office is one of the easiest spaces to convert. First, consider which home office furniture will be most functional for your workday. Next, ensure you have proper air conditioning and heat depending on your region’s weather. Install window treatments, rugs, and textiles to absorb sound. None of us want to hear echos on your next phone call or Zoom meeting.

6. Garden Shed Home Office Ideas 2020 | She Shed Office Ideas
With COVID-19, She Shed office ideas are trending, even in Australia. In case you’ve got an outdoor shed, I thought this she shed office idea was both useful and fun.
“Take advantage of the warmer spring weather and move your home office outdoors. A simple folding table and chair can be moved at a moment’s notice while beautiful, framed prints are sure to inspire you!” says Homes To Love AU

7. Mid-Century Modern Style Fung-Shui Home Office With Green & White Herringbone Flooring
“The ideal colors for the east or southeast-facing rooms are browns, tans, and greens. These color choices represent the stability of the wood element,” says My Domaine.

8. Add Pops of Color To Your Neutral Spaces.
A yellow tufted sofa with navy throw brings some fun to this neutrally converting sitting room to a home office.
Moving a couple of chairs in a sitting room and adding a floating desk can turn a typically unused space to everyday workspaces required if you’re working at home. The neutral braided sisal rug provides great organic texture.

9. Tropical Home Office Ideas 2020 by Designers Naples FL.
Possibly the most organic office, I love the British West Indies style master sitting area or sunroom converted to an office. While I wouldn’t have chosen the black chair, everyone needs to be super comfortable while working at home.
